OSCAL (Open Source Conference Albania) is the first annual conference in Albania organized to promote software freedom, open source software, free culture and open knowledge, a global movement that originally started more than 25 years ago. The Conference will take place at 3 and 4 May 2014 in Tirana and will gather free libre open source technology users, developers, academics, governmental agencies and people who share the idea that software should be free and open for the local community and governments to develop and customize to its needs; that knowledge is a communal property and free and open to everyone. Active member of GNU Greece, supporter of Free Software Foundation Europe and the operational manager for Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Greece. Owner of Onitas Hellas.
WikiAkademia
Born in Elbasan but living in Tirana, Greta studied Information and Communication Technology at the Univerity of Tirana . She is one of the board members @OpenLabs. Coordinator @WikiAkademia Albania. Hacktivist/Open Source/Free Software.
FLOSSK
Gent is part of the executive board at FLOSSK. He is a Fedora Project Ambassador and a Mozilla Representative. Gent currently works at IPKO Foundation where he is in charge of BarCamp Prishtina and BarCamp In Your City.
C++11 and GCC
He writes mobile applications, machine learning algorithms and Desktop applications in C++ including Poken S.A. in Switzerland, Nokia in Ulm, Germany, doo GmbH in Germany.
FLOSSK
FLOSS hacktivist and currently President of the Executive board at FLOSSK, Board president at MOSSCon and a Mozilla Representative. Altin works at IPKO Foundation as a Program Assistant where he also manages the tech sides of the projects.
